CAC Summary for Dec. 12, 2007

The New US 31 Plymouth to South Bend Community Advisory Committee (CAC) met for the first time on Dec. 12 at the Lakeville Public Library. The focus of the first CAC meeting was the project’s communication process – past, present and future.

The CAC suggested that, moving forward, the project team hold more than one public open house to better accommodate crowds and address specific questions. The group also suggested increasing the use of various forms of media to advertise meetings, in addition to the current policy of providing legal advertisements and news releases. One specific change which will take place immediately is the distribution of the project newsletter through the Lunar Echo in Lakeville.

Following questions from the group, an updated list of Frequently Asked Questions will be posted on the Web site by February.
